Template — review before launch. This is a starting draft, not legal advice. Have it reviewed and tailored (especially the governing-law section) before relying on it.
These terms govern your use of RiffRep. By using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use RiffRep.
The service
RiffRep is a free practice player that lets you slow down and loop parts of songs from YouTube or your own local files and save a library. Audio always plays on your device; we never host your files, and your library stays on your device.
Acceptable use
Don't use RiffRep to break the law, infringe others' rights, or interfere with the service. Don't attempt to download, scrape, or redistribute content from the embedded YouTube player.
Third-party services
RiffRep embeds the YouTube player. Your use of YouTube content through RiffRep is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service. RiffRep is free and ad-free; voluntary support via Ko-fi is handled by Ko-fi under their own terms.
Disclaimers and liability
RiffRep is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing here limits rights that can't be limited under applicable law.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of [your jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
